From the past 500 years mankind has seen no word more enchanting and no slogan more captivation as progress. Be it an individual, state, nation or a society. All of us want all, but how many got all? This idiom is not only true for individuals but for nations too.
We are trying to inspect the development of the nations, that what catalyses a stagnant society to stop hibernating? What inspires a nation to sacrifice its sleep and luxury and trade it for labour and persistent handwork?
It is the will to rise, the passion to revitalise the past glory and the desire to reflect upon ones rich heritage. From where does this dream starts materialising? What makes the phoenix rise from its ashes?
It is a thought, an idea which nourishes an action. A Change is inspired from with in which then transforms the world outside. Industrial revolution is considered to be the hallmark of mode technological development. But I choose to disagree. All these material manifestation are meaningless without manifestation of thought in a society.
When speaking of China, people always think of its 5000 yea of civilisation, the great wall, the terracotta army, the Forbidden City and other glorious treasures of the past. However with the amazing changes that have taken place in China since 1980's people have began to pay more attention to its progress and future development.
Chinese society is one of those, which has suffered humiliation at the hands of foreign intruders and many bitter memories. But rather then fuelingthemselves on these grounds, they chose to reflect upon their past glory, the dark times and under development was annihilated.
They overcome every hurdle, because of their such prestigious and prominent qualities. They passed a long journey to come to their discrimination. During this they didn't indulge their nuts on into any minimal activities like creed, colour cultural discrimination or sectarianism. They were united, and they displayed a sensational progress in every walk of life. Whether it is their social life their political policies, their foreign and interior matter.
Today China enjoys a great importance in the world and whole the world has been influenced by them. People say that time moves in a linear fashion, history doesn't repeats itself. A nation or civilisation hardly rises if it once falls. But China proved them wrong. In the past, when territory and great monarchies were the yard stick, China was a power, and now when economic development and capital is the measure of progress and development of China. It is fast breaking the myth of underdevelopment.
It is giving a hope to those who were hopeless. But was it magic, through which China achieved all this? No! Magicians don't do that politicians and leaders do that. It is the feeling of patriotism which is directly proportional to development. Littleness of means can be over come with an excess of zeal.
