Pakistan Muslim League-N Finance Secretary Mohammad Pervaiz Malik has said that despite suspension in composite dialogue between Pakistan and India for peace and present political crisis in Pakistan, major decisions like bilateral trade are being taken which only benefits India.
Malik said here on Tuesday that there was no progress on the dialogue to find a solution to Kashmir and other disputes and pending decisions on core issues, confidence-building measures are continuing which is not understandable. He said due to Pakistan's weakness, India has opened the disputed territory of Siachin frontiers for tourists, building barrages on rivers and interfering in Pakistan territory caring little for Pakistan's protest.
At the cultural and social fronts, Pakistan is also making unprecedented measures to preserve and renovate Hindu cultural heritage, religious arid historic spots by spending millions of rupees which all looks odd.
Malik also said there was an acute shortage of food items because of smuggling, black marketing and profiteering and these items have gone out of the reach of common man. At this stage, the export of these items would further aggravate the situation and the eatables will become totally out of the reach of the common man.
