05 Oct, 2007

Despite having some reservations over proposed National Reconciliation Ordinance, the ministers belonging to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will attend the next cabinet meeting, MQM Spokesman Haider Abbas Rizvi said on Thursday.
"All the cabinet members belonging to MQM will attend the cabinet meeting to put their view point before Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz," he told APP. Haider Abbas said that the MQM had shown its reservations over the proposed draft of the National Reconciliation Ordinance at the highest level after which "these reservations will be included in the next cabinet meeting."
He said, "We have a assurance that all our reservations and grievances will be removed and all decisions will be taken in consultation with all component parties of the ruling coalition." The MQM spokesman said the fake cases against MQM workers be also taken back to let them freely participate in the national politics because every one has a right to enjoy amnesty if given through any ordinance.
