Bears commanded the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday where the equities failed to show recovery signs under the lead of hot favourites amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index showed a decrease of 22.24 points from 3,227.18 to 3,204.94 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 3,673,800 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,566,900 shares. Total 132 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (65) closed in negative territory, 62 closed in positive territory, whereas five companies remained glued to their overnight levels.
The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 889,800 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 286,000 shares. The turnover of Lukcy Cement was 234,400 shares.
