Pakistan Muslim League (PML) workers led by senior party leader from the area, Ashraf Iqbal Baloch held a rally to celebrate the re-election of General Pervez Musharraf as President of Pakistan.
Baloch told APP that a large number of local people besides party officials and workers gathered in Gwadar city to show their support to President General Pervez Musharraf when they heard the news of his success in the election. They raised slogans in favour of Musharraf, danced and shared sweets with each other as a part of their jubilation.
A. I. Baloch said the people of Balochistan had noted that President Pervez Musharraf was very sincere and serious in socio-economic uplift of this vast but neglected province of Balochistan. He said General Musharraf has totally reshaped Balochistan. "We see a bright future for Balochs and the people of Pakistan in general."
