Senior Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani has said the ongoing liberation struggle would continue till last Indian occupied soldier leaves occupied Kashmir. Addressing a public gathering in Sopore town, he said occupied Kashmir has been turned into a garrison.
India has not shown any flexibility towards resolution of the Kashmir dispute and with the help of its troops, continues to illegally occupy thousands of kanals of agricultural land, KMS reported.
Gilani said, "We want complete withdrawal of troops from occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Indian leadership should bear in mind that they cannot keep the Kashmir under the chains of suppression by virtue of military power.
He also expressed serious concern over the deteriorating condition of Kashmiri detainees in various prisons in and outside occupied Kashmir. He asked the international human rights organisations to take cognisance of the matter.
