Vocational training centres planned in Balochistan

Balochistan government is establishing vocational training centres at districts and tehsils level for special persons aimed at enabling them to earn their livelihood, official sources told APP here Sunday.
The training centers will not only provide efficient training to disabled in various trades including tailoring, wood-working, and other trades, but also provide computer education and other, so that as they could earn and live respectable life in society.
The provincial government has created hundreds of posts of various grades under special quota and appointed disable persons, they said, adding that it was not only the responsibility of the government to enable special persons, but the philanthropists and welfare organisations should also step up all-out efforts for their rehabilitation in this regard. The government has devised a plan to ensure transparency in distribution of Zakat. Besides, it has distributed thousands of sewing machines among widows and poor women in various districts of the province, they added.
