Islamabad Police on Sunday has arrested three persons involved in car jacking and recovered five stolen cars and several fake registration books from their possession, a police spokesman said. These alleged car jackers were identified as Liaqat Ali Khan, Kabil Shah and Babar Khalid.
Registration numbers of the recovered cars are IDP-3159, IDM-1510, IDG-6885, MD-153 and KE-773. The police spokesman said that arrested persons have confessed stealing 50 cars from the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Further investigation is underway in this connection, he added.
