The workers of Pakistan Muslim League (Q) celebrated the clean sweeping victory of President General Pervez Musharraf in the presidential election and took out a rally here late evening on Saturday. The rally was led by City District Nazim Raja Javed Ikhlas turned into public rally at GPO Chowk cantonment.
Besides others, Nazim Potohar Town, Hamid Nawaz Raja and President PML-Q District Rawalpindi, Muhammad Nasir Raja addressed the rally. The speakers expressed complete confidence in the dynamic leadership of President Musharraf.
The activists of the PML-Q also demonstrated fireworks to express their joy and jubilation over the victory of President. City District Nazim, Javed Ikhlas said that the way President Musharraf achieved clean sweeping success depicts that the PML-Q would also achieve the success by overwhelming majority in the upcoming general elections.
President PML-Q Raja Nasir said the success of President Musharraf was a good omen for the Muslim League saying the PML-Q would once again come into power with tremendous success in the up coming elections.
