The position of a leading group of developing nations could lead to a breakdown in long-running global trade talks, known as the Doha round, a US spokesman said on Tuesday.
"We are very concerned about this proposal that came out today," Sean Spicer, a spokesman for US Trade Representative Susan Schwab, said in a statement e-mailed to Reuters. "In fact, this proposal could signal the end of the Doha Round," he said.
