City markets, business centres, special bazaars and shopping avenues are busy catering to the rush for shopping with Eid-ul-Fitr just around the corner. Optimum crowd is witnessed, like always, after Iftari as markets remain open late night and on Sundays as well.
"It's good to witness this traditional zeal for Eid shopping as this is of course a very auspicious occasion for our Muslim brethren", expressed an elderly shopkeeper.
According to a survey by APP correspondent, this year shopping centres and posh markets are flooded with domestic and foreign goods. Readymade garments, mostly imported from Dubai, Singapore, China and Thailand are available in local markets and are drawing people's interest and favour.
