Punjab approves plan worth Rs 750 million

Punjab government has approved the plan for construction of housing colonies in Sialkot, Narowal and Gujranwala districts of Gujranwala division at a cost of Rs 750 million.
Official sources told Business Recorder here on Wednesday that basic facilities like electricity, sewerage, and water supply would be provided to these proposed colonies and 40-feet wide roads would also be constructed.
Sources further said that the Sialkot housing colony would spread over 200 acres of land consisting 2,500 plots of five marla and one kanal while Narowal colony would have 400 plots of 5, 7,10 marla and one kanal and 800 plots of different categories would be developed in Gujranwala housing scheme.
