Pesco urges consumers to follow safety measures

The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has urged consumers to follow safety measures in order to avoid electrocution and electric shocks especially during the Eidul Fitr and 'Chand Raat'.
The PESCO management also has asked public to keep off from aerial firing during the festival that can damage human lives and some times HT & LT power lines as well resulting power outages. The authorities stressing safety steps has advised to "earth" electrical appliances properly replace worn out wires and stop touching electrical appliances/cables with wet hands.
There should be special care while using electric water pumps and fans. Female inmates have been directed not to dry clothes on metal wires. Further, they officials have suggested not touching washing machines with wet hands and using foot mate while pressing clothes. The Chief Executive, PESCO, Brigadier Sakhi Marjan said that life is a precious gift of God and people should save it from any untoward.
