Chief Manager State Bank Peshawar (SBP), Hamayun Khan has said that a computerised system has been introduced to help the general public seeking fresh currency notes on the eve of Eid.
Talking to APP here on Thursday, Hamayun Khan dispelled the impression that the general public was facing any difficulty in obtaining new currency notes adding that the computerized system has been initiated to facilitate the masses.
Six counters set-up from first Ramzan are issuing fresh notes to the people. Besides this, a special facility has also been provided to female and old-age-people visiting the SBP. Hamayun Khan said notes of Rs 10 and 20 denominations are given on production of NIC copy.
