Road accidents during Eid claim 18 lives

At least 18 persons were killed and over 20 were injured in road mishaps on Eid day (Sunday) and Monday while another four including two women were shot dead, police said. According to details, four persons each died in Khangarh (Muzaffargarh) and Karor-lal Eisan (Layyah district).
Two each died in Shah Sadardin town and Burewala, One each died in Multan, Vehari, Kotadu, Muzaffargarh, Jehanian and Mian Chunnu. Regional Police Officer Multan Mirza Muhammad Ali said," these incidents occurred due to reckless driving and over speeding which claimed the lives of 18 persons,"
An aged woman Farzana and her son-in-law were stabbed to death in Khanpur (Kot Chhutta) in Dera Ghazi Khan district where killers tied them up with a tree then they stabbed with scalpels. One Faqir Muhammad and his son Usman Ahmed shot dead his daughter Samina Bibi for developing illicit relation with a youth of village 105/15-L (Mian Chunnu) and One Haji Rashid was shot dead in Makhdoom Rashid for demanding his money of Rs 35,000 back.
