Education centres to be set up in Balochistan

19 Oct, 2007

National Vocational and Technical Education Commission (NAVTEC) has decided to set up education institutions in Balochistan to provide skill-oriented education facilities to the youth of the province.
To ensure geographical coverage, around 48 institutions would be established in the first phase where no technical education institution exists in the province. Through this programme, an additional pool of 3,200 people would be trained by the end of the year. The NAVTEC is pursuing the programme on directive of the President and under the Prime Minister's special initiative.
