Pakistan to attend fruit and vegetable show in London

Pakistan will take part in two-day World Fruit and Vegetable Show in London from October 21. Pakistan Horticulture Development & Export Board (PHDEB) Chief Shamoon Sadiq, will lead Pakistan delegation, comprising prominent horticulture growers, processors and exporters.
Commercial Secretary, Pakistan High Commission Saira Najeeb said that participation of delegation will provide excellent opportunity to showcase Pakistani produce and interact with leading stakeholders.
She said it will also help establish requisite link between European market and Pakistan which grows variety of fruits and vegetables. On display will be handpicked best of produce available in Pakistan which could provide a new gateway into lucrative UK market. The show will be mixture of product presentation, filling excel exhibition centre, with up to 500 exhibitors.
