PPP leaders acquitted

Three PPP leaders acquitted by the special Judge Anti Corruption, Multan, Kazim Ali Malik because the prosecution witnesses withdrew their evidence and categorically stated that they were not aware of the incident.
Malik Liaquat Ali Dogar, MNA, Malik Salahuddin Dogar and Malik Shaukat Dogar former Mayors of Multan, Khalid Mehmood Sabiri Municipal Officer and Allah Ditta Office Superintendent were booked from the charge of burning the official record of anti corruption establishment to destroy the documentary proofs of corruption against them, but the prosecution failed to prove this allegation.
The defence counsel plead that it was a politically motivated case instituted against them in 1993 and the prosecution failed to prove their indulgence in this case in spite of elapsing 14 years.
