Nazim lauds chief minister's uplift initiatives

The special development initiatives announced for district Rahim Yar Khan by the Chief Minister Punjab on his recent visit will greatly enhance the standard of life of the local population. This was stated by tehsil nazim Khanpur, Syed Ghulam Murtaza while addressing a meeting here on Tuesday.
He said ownership rights would be provided to residents of katchi abadis as early as December 2007, adding that all strata of the society here are lauding the Chief Minister's initiatives for this region.
Listing the other development projects, he said the Khwaja Farid bridge to link districts Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur will facilitate travel and trade in the region adding construction of new roads, Rescue 1122 service, establishment of a cardiac centre would speed up development in this area.
