Equities showed negative signs at Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where bears strengthened their positions under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE-10 Index was down by 73.40 points as the ISE index moved from 3,120.97 to 3,047.57 points.
The volume of trade amounted to 2,552,400 shares as compared to previous turnover of 4,141,800 shares. Total 148 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (103) closed in negative territory, 43 landed in plus column, whereas 2 companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The volume of Arif Habib Securities was 461,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 839,400 shares. The volume of Attock Refinery was 245,500 shares. The volume of NIB Bank was 440,800 shares.
