Low budget train started in public interest

There is great public interest specially for the working travellers in the Bhanbhore Express which is being introduced from October 26, 2007 as a low budget train running as an express train from Karachi and Rawalpindi, reports UPP correspondent.
A large number of middle and lower income group working class persons interviewed by UPP said that this train was going to be many popular among the working class travellers.
They said that the fare of Rs 555 per seat and Rs 80 for a berth in the train was far cheaper than the most low budget seats offered by buses and coaches on the Karachi-Rawalpindi route, people have complimented Sheikh Rashid for this.
The bookings of Bhanbhore express has increased with the passage of every day and as the date of its launch nears. Railway officials do not expect any fall in bookings on the Karachi-Rawalpindi route on other express and main trains on the railway network between Karachi and Rawalpindi and Karachi and Peshawar.
