FBR advises PFMA members to pay tax

Additional Commissioner of Income Tax, Enforcement division, Shoaib Ahmed Sethi has asked Pakistan Flour Mills Association (PFMA) Sindh to apprise their members about the benefits of becoming tax payers and obtaining tax number, of filing return on time and the convenience of e-filing.
Speaking at a meeting of PFMA held recently, he explained in detail the reasons as to why the reform process was deemed necessary and the reform policy initiated by the FBR.
He discussed the facility provided to the taxpayers by the USAS scheme in the income tax ordinance ,2001, as well as the new e-filing system and the kiosks set up in various markets to facilitate the tax payers, where taxpayers can apply for issuance of NTN , obtain forms as well as general guidance.
The President Pakistan Flour Mills Association (Sindh) Chaudhry Ansar Jawed agreed to send a circular to all members outlining all the information provided by the Additional Income Tax Commissioner in order to broaden the tax base. He also agreed to set up a computer centre at their office in order to provide all members of the association the opportunity to file their tax returns under the guidance of the central committee.-PR
