The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will not enter into a dialogue with the ruling PML on the issues of caretaker set-up, National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) and the proposed code of conduct.
The Acting president of the PML-N, Makhdoom Javed Hashmi while talking to a group of newsmen on phone from Sindh where he is on a week-long visit said PML-N would not reconcile with those who damaged the country's image.
"There was no truth in Shujaat's statement," he added. "Shujaat himself never knows what he says," Hashmi said. He added that Mian Nawaz Sharif had time and again said that there would be no compromise with dictators or those who had damaged the country.
Hashmi said Nawaz had not yet finalised his return schedule but he had hinted during his meeting with him that he may return in November anytime. Central Working committee of PML-N would soon meet in London to finalise the date for his arrival, he added.
When asked whether Nawaz's welcome show would prove a failure this time again, he said that September 10 show was a failure but it happened due to hindrances and restrictions imposed by the government.
Hashmi said that government had sealed all roads leading to Islamabad and police were deployed at several points, which marred welcome arrangements. When asked as to why PML-N activists, especially those from Lahore, did not react to the forced exile of Nawaz, he said government had arrested almost all key office bearers and police were harassing the rest.
