Over billing cases: Lesco assures prompt redressal to complaints

A Lahore Electric Supply Corporation (Lesco) representative referring to a news item regarding over-billing, has clarified that necessary measures are being ensured by the company to monitor billing and provide redressal to complainants.
In a media release issued here on Thursday, he said that special teams working in the offices of all operation circles were monitoring electricity bills to prevent over-billing.
Apart from this, Customer Service Centres across the city are serving customers to address complaints, while mobile customer care teams are also tending complaints to facilitate the public. He said while there were not many over-billing complaints, anyone billed more than the consumed units shown in the meter was provided prompt redressal.
