The Associate Dean International Affairs of the University of Wales, United Kingdom, Claire Birney on Friday visited Centre for Advanced Studies in Physics (CASP) of the GC University Lahore and discussed matters of mutual interest with Director CASP Professor Dr Ijaz Mujtaba Ghauri.
Claire Birney exchanged views with Dr Ijaz with regard to mutual exchange of faculty and students in order to bring in close academic co-operation and co-ordination between the two varsities.
Dr Ijaz suggested long term academic co-operation between the Telecommunication departments of both the universities. Giving a brief presentation to the students, Claire said that University of Wales is offering MSc in telecommunication with management with a view to enhance students management skills. The visit of the UK delegation was arranged by the GCU Students Counselling and Career Guidance Centre in co-ordination with the CASP department of the varsity.
