RoK trade team due on November 4

A trade delegation from the Republic of Korea (RoK) comprising government officials and business representatives is arriving here on November 4 on a two-day visit. Hwang Chulgon, Mayor of Masan city and head of delegation would meet City Nazim Mustafa Kamal and President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Shamim Ahmed Siddiqui to discuss matters of concern for the enhancement of mutual benefit.
Bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Korea from January till the end of September this year has surged to the tune of 865 million dollars, showing a 21 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The visit of trade delegation may also discuss matters to further enhance trade volume between the two countries.
On November five, delegates of 17 manufacturers in high tech sectors such as thermal power, equipment and machinery will have full day face-to-face meetings with the Pakistani business partners at a local hotel here.
