Samsung Electronics has installed its TVs at the head office of the United Nations, also known as the UN, the symbol of love and peace for the entire world, located in Manhattan, New York. JinGak Chung, Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics briefed, "Samsung donated LCD TVs to the UN, having it installed in the press room and the lobby of the head office building.
Given that more than 500,000 visitors visit the UN head office per year, the newly installed LCD TVs are expected to play a meaningful role in promoting Samsung brand throughout the world."
UN's PR department plans to use the LCD TVs as a tool to provide information on a wide variety of UN activities, including the opening of the UN assembly and the negotiation schedule of the international agencies under the umbrella of the UN. Plus, the LCD TVs will be used to exhibit a full range of pictures and videos on climate change and combat against poverty, all possessed by the UN.-PR
