Wasi to address investors' forum in London

Federal Minister for Privatisation and Investment, Wasi Zafar will address the participants of Pakistan Investors Forum at the Merrill Lynch Financial Centre London on November 2. The forum is being held under the auspices of Merrill Lynch in collaboration with KASB Securities, said a press release issued by Privatisation Commission here on Wednesday.
The main objective of the moot is to provide an opportunity to communicate Pakistan's economic, investment, privatisation policies and strategies in an effective manner to the investors and get their responses through interpersonal interaction and presentations.
Merrill Lynch in collaboration with KASB Securities had held a similar forum at Singapore earlier this year, which attracted large number of investors and generated huge interest for investment in Pakistan.
Wasi Zafar, who is currently on official visit to UK, earlier participated in one-day moot on Monday, which was organised by Morgan Stanley, it added. The moot was aimed at introducing the top business professionals of Pakistani companies to the UK and European investor base. A group of Pakistani is also accompanying the federal minister.
