Indonesia will ship 1.5-1.8 million tonnes of palm oil through the Dutch port of Rotterdam this year, roughly 10 percent of its total production, an Indonesian Palm Oil Association official said on Monday.
Derom Bangun, Executive Chairman of the association, said the amount of Indonesian palm oil shipped into Rotterdam was also likely to rise by 5-to-8 percent annually over the next five years, as demand for the oil in Europe would stay robust.
