Accountability Court (AC) adjourned the hearing against Syed Sibt-ul-Hassan Shah alias Double Shah and others for defrauding the people as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) sought time to file a supplementary reference.
The court also gave accused Chan Pir in NAB custody and issued non-bailable arrest warrant of another accused Mouzzam H Gillani, co-accused of Double Shah.
The prosecution said Double Shah and others had looted the public of Rs 441.347 million, which they had received by promising them 100 percent return on their investment within 15 to 70 days. Meanwhile an accountability court extended judicial remand of Munawar Hussain Shah, a co-accused of Double Shah till November 16. NAB said the accused had misappropriated Rs 2 billion from investors.
