Rs 80 million to be spent on uplift works in NA-127

The Punjab government will spend funds amounting Rs 80 million on various development schemes in constituency NA-127 on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister. According to official sources, the development work includes construction of roads and streets, provision of potable water, sewerage facilities and other civic amenities.
Punjab Minister Information Technology and candidate from NA-127, Abdul Aleem Khan recommended the development projects, the sources said. Development work will be carried out in Quaid-e-Millat Colony, Umar Farooq Road, Fazal Haq Colony, Data Town, Bhatti Colony, Race Club Road, Javed Colony, Al-Mustafa Colony.
Hajveri Road, Lahore Public Street, Malik Chowk, Bismillah Chowk, Mayo Colony, Al-Latif Road, Madina Town, Iftikhar Wali Street, Ansari Street and Noortani Park. The Chief Minister has directed these uplift schemes be completed within a minimum time period, sources added.
