'Marriage, other functions not to be held at public school premises'

The City Nazim has announced that public schools will educate the poor's children and never allow to hold marriages and other functions in their premises and that his government will also build a model high school at the Gulshan-e-Ravi B Block at a cost of Rs 40 million to be equipped with modern facilities.
Lahore Nazim Mian Amir Mahmood told Muslim League Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Mehnaz Rafi. He also said the district government would provide fund to build boundary walls of 81 schools in Lahore, science laboratories for 39 schools, computer labs for 99 schools and toilets for 117 schools.
