PML delegation calls on Imtiaz Ranjha

A representative delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (PML), Fata, called on Pakistan Muslim League, secretary finance and political affairs, Chaudhry Imtiaz Ahmed Ranjha at the PML central secretariat. The delegation was headed by Malik Zahir Shah Afridi, President PML Fata.
He said, the tribal people appreciate efforts being made by the federal government for the uplift of the tribal areas. He said people of the tribal areas, by and large, have full faith in the leadership of President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
Malik Zahir Shah Afirdi demanded representation of tribal areas at the PML central secretariat in Islamabad. Imtiaz Ranjha said the government would accelerate development activities in the tribal areas so that the people there can enjoy better amenities of life. He said efforts would be boosted for building of infrastructure, including better roads, schools, health centre and small industries in the tribal areas.
He said, the people of tribal areas played historic role in the Pakistan movement, they made supreme sacrifices during 1965, 1971 wars and they are contributing to the development of the country. Chaudhry Imtiaz Ranjha assured the delegation that Pakistan Muslim League would meet all genuine demands made by the delegation. The delegation from tribal areas included Muslim League leaders and workers from Mohmand Agency, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Kurram Agency, Bajaur Agency, Orakzai Agency, Khyber Agency and F.R Kohat.
