Lawyers to boycott courts today

Pakistan Bar Council Executive Committee Chairman and National Lawyers Action Committee member Qazi Muhammad Anwar Advocate has said that the lawyer community will protest, boycott courts procedures and observe Black Day on Monday against proclamation a state of emergency.
Talking to newsmen at his office after ban on press conference at press club on Sunday, Qazi Anwar said that the detentions and harassment could not press the lawyers' struggle and they would not remain silent over the violation of constitution. He said that a basic aim of the imposition of the emergency to push the nation in closed street and hoped that all pro-democratic people would strongly oppose the President unconstitutional and illegal step.
Qazi Anwar said that the masses would give punishment to the government for the violation of the constitution and the lawyers would approach to hear cases at every Chowk.To a question, he vowed the lawyers would continue till the restoration of the constitution and democracy.
