Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said on Tuesday that India has refused to issue him a visa for an official trip. Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid said the Indian High Commission (embassy) in Islamabad had granted visas to other officials but declined his request.
"I will take up the matter with Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz," he told AFP, adding that the Indian Commission had given no reason for the refusal. The Indian High Commission was not immediately available for comment. Rashid said he wanted to travel to New Delhi with officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board. "Everyone else has been issued visas but the Indians said they will not give me one," he added.
