According to the well-placed sources the QESCO has also requested additional funds for grids at Dera Bugti and Sui from the government of Balochistan.
The sources said that the proposed project would help to electrify most of the villages and towns of district Dera Bugti and will improve the socio-economic condition of the population of the area besides, stimulate business, investment opportunities, industrial development and employment opportunities in the area.
The sources said that in Balochistan there are 14398 villages while the pace of villages' electrification is very slow due to shortage of the funds.
