Non-local militant involves in Swat unrest: Muqam

Federal Minister for Political Affairs and President of PML (Q) Amir Muqam has said that foreigners and non-local militants are involved in the unrest in Swat district. He also expressed the confidence that the government with the support of law-abiding citizens would foil all acts of sabotage.
Talking to members of PML Inter Party (Peace) Committee, Muazzam Butt advocate and Muhammad Habib Qureshi, he said, "The people of Swat are kind hearted, peaceful and law abiding, therefore no question arises about their involvement in the present turbulence in their own district".
He said the government would support people and would foil every nefarious design of the saboteurs. The Minister said the country was passing through difficult challenges of terrorism, extremism etc and added that the government wanted to establish law and order at any cost in Swat district.
Amir Muqam said, providing dignified jobs to the educated lot and ensuring guarantee to their future were the sole objectives of the politics of the Muslim League.
