Dollar selling price higher

The rupee was stable versus dollar in the local currency markets here on Friday. Currency dealers said dollar's buying rate remained unchanged though its selling price showed a 10-paisa increase compared with the local unit.
The dollar was finally traded at Rs 60.90 and Rs 61.10 on buying and selling sides as opposed it its overnight value of Rs 60.90 and Rs 61.00 though some dealers said the selling rate was also intact to its previous day's level. The local currency further showed weakness against pound sterling bought and sold at Rs 127.75 and Rs 128.20 as against Rs 127.60 and Rs 128.00 on Thursday.
