The district development committee (DDC) Hyderabad approved 38 different uplift schemes costing Rs 239.021 million under various development programmes. The DDC meeting held here on Saturday with District Co-ordination Officer Aftab Ahmed Khatri in the chair.
Addressing the meeting, DCO said that as many as 29 new development schemes including 19 road sector development project were approved, which would cost Rs 178.554 under Annual Development Plan (ADP) 2007-08 while remaining 10 multi sectoral schemes approved under MPA's Priority Programme 2007-08, which would cost of Rs 17.166 million. He directed the officers concerned to execute and complete these schemes within the stipulated time period and ensure qualitative work by conducting physical inspection at the site on regular basis.
