Acting Vice-Chancellor Mehran University Prof: Dr Muhammad Rafique Abro said that with expansion of many new disciplines coupled with individual desires to improve overall quality of life, career planning and progression have claimed importance in the lives of young graduates.
He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of four-day workshop on "Career Development for Young Professional", which started here on Saturday. The workshop was organised by the Directorate of Continuing Education (DCE).
Director DCE, Professor Dr Mujeeb Sahrai, observed that career counselling and career planning were very important yet highly neglected activities in our society today. Dr Sahrai informed that about forty participants from Mehran University and Sindh University are attending the workshop.
