Chief minister inaugurates road project at Kamra

Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Ellahi on Sunday inaugurated a road project leading from Qutba to Teen Mila at Kamra to provide better travelling facilities to the people of the area. The road project would be completed at the cost of Rs 363 million.
Besides others, Chairman Pakistan Aeronautical Complex Kamra, Air Marshall Khalid Chaudary, District Nazim Attock Major (Retd) Tahir Sadiq, Managing Directors Mahraj Rebuild Factory, Managing Director Air Craft Manufacturing Factory, Air Commodore Asad Ullah Khan, Air Commodore Shair Zada, DIG Nasir Khan Durrani, Superintending Engineer Provincial Highway Roads Ibrar Sultan, Executive Engineer Ikram Ullah and Sub Divisional Officer Furrukh Naeem were also present on the occasion. The 10-kilometer long road project would have four lanes, official sources told APP here.
The sources said that some 8,000 vehicles would ply daily on this road and at least 0.5 million population would avail best transportation facility after the completion of the project, they added. This road would be connected to GT Road (N-5) and the project would be completed in 18 months period, the sources said. The sources added that the road would also be linked with Talagang Hatian Terbala road.
