Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) delegation led by Dr Farooq Sattar has called on President of Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) Pir Pagara and set up 6-member committee of two parties for seat adjustment and other issues.
Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Farooq Sattar said that they exchanged views about various issues including political stability, continuation of political process in the country, war against terrorism and 6-member joint committee of the two parties to chalk out strategy about the upcoming elections and seat adjustment.
Farooq Sattar announced that the MQM would also form co-ordination committee with other major political parties, adding that all the parties have important responsibilities about forthcoming polls. He urged all the political parties to prepare their own code of conduct to ensure the holding elections in peaceful atmosphere.
