PIAF-Founder Alliance announces candidates for LCCI polls

The PIAF-Founders Alliance has nominated Mohammad Ali Mian as it candidate for the top slot (Chamber Class) of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries (LCCI) for the elections of 2008.
Chairman PIAF-Founders Alliance, Mian Anjum Nisar, at a press conference here at the election office of the alliance, disclosed the name of alliance's candidates for the upcoming elections of LCCI. Siting president of LCCI Shahid Hassan Sheikh, Mian Mohammad Ashraf, Iftikhar Ali Malik, Chairman PIAF Mian Abuzar Shad, Mian Shafqat Ali and Sheikh Mohammad Arshad and others were also present.
He said that that Iftikhar Ali Malik and Mian Shafqat Ali had been tasked to look after the electioneering of Associate and chamber class respectively. He said that the alliance wanted to run election campaign in an organised manner and only because of this reason two very important leaders have been appointed as incharge of the election campaign.
He said that the alliance had introduced well-educated and experienced persons as its candidates. For instance, he said, Mian Muzaffar Ali had been on the LCCI Executive Board on a number of times in the past and well aware of the issues being confronted by business community.
He said the other Alliance candidates for Chamber Class are: Abrar Ahmed and Muhammad Imran Khan while for the Associate Class the Alliance candidates are: Sohail Azhar, Hassan Amjad, Mian Nasir Mahmud and Malik Mubasher Ahmad.
