Trend setting books published by PLA: Dr Jalibi

Pakistan Academy of Letters (PLA) has published trend setting books in the series titled Memar-i-Adab, eminent scholar Dr Jameel Jalibi said during a visit to the Pakistan Academy of Letters here on Tuesday.
Dr Jalibi appreciated the publications programme of the academy, especially, books on "Rehman Baba: Life and Work" by Dr Parvaiz Mehjoor Khawaishgi, "Atta Shad: Life and Work" by Afzal Murad, "Mian Muhammad Bukhsh: Life and Work" by Hameed Ullah Hashmi, "Qalandar Momand and Life and Work" by Professor Muhammad Zubair Hasrat, "Ameer Hamza Khan Shinwari and other writers' works.
Responding, PAL Chairman Iftikhar Arif said that the series Pakistani Adab Ke Memar has been undertaken to pay tribute to eminent writers of our country who have rendered invaluable service to promote literary values for Pakistani literature.
