PTI chief's arrest condemned

The Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) has condemned the arrest of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, saying it was shameful and told the government to drop the ban on media. The bar meeting, held with its Vice President Firdoos Butt drew several bar members condemning Khan's arrest and demanded that the government should free lawyers, political leaders and workers.
The members praised the judges refusing to take oath and rejected the interim government and also demanded an independent election commission for fair and transparent elections.
