Rising trend persisted on the grain market on Saturday as grams prices showed sharp rise in process of trading, dealers said. On the gram side, gram garda Punjab was higher by Rs 75 to Rs 2725-2875. Gram dal garda Punjab also picked up the same amount at Rs 3200-3350. Yellow peas Canada rose the same amount at Rs 2500-2650.
Beetle Chana No 1 also picked up the same amount at Rs 2925-3075, dal beetle rose by Rs 50 to Rs 3300-3450 and bajra better type was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1650 while low type maintained the overnight level at Rs 1425, they said.
On the cereal side, barley Sindh and Mardan was sharply higher at Rs 1300, dealers said. Wheat old and new both appreciated by Rs 25 to Rs 1565-1580, respectively, they said.
