TV contract boosts PayPoint results

British electronic payment firm PayPoint Plc said on Wednesday a television licensing contract and improving brand recognition boosted first-half results as the company seeks to move more business online.
PayPoint runs cash machines that charge a commission under the Link brand, and collects cash payments for utilities companies, housing authorities, mobile phone top-ups, transport and the London congestion charge in convenience stores.
