Hajj Operation will be completed by December 6 at Darul Hajjaj. About three thousand intending pilgrims have left for Saudi Arabia from Faisalabad. This was stated by Hajj Committee Member Ahsaan Shahid.
Talking to newsmen, he said that the Hajj operation started from here on November 14 and 205 intending pilgrims were leaving Saudi Arabia from here through Hajj flights on daily basis.
He said that the free breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and mineral water were being provided to them through counters of local industrialists and business community while young scouts were extending services for guiding the pilgrims from reception gate to all counters.
Ahsaan Shahid said the pilgrims boarding here were given training for performing Munask-e-Hajj by the master trainer of Ministry of Religious Affairs and documentary video film relating to the Hajj journey was also being exhibited for the guidance of pilgrims so that they could perform Hajj with full confidence and convenience.
He said that special arrangements for free medical facilities were also made in Darul Hajjaj. A concluding ceremony was scheduled to be held December 5 at the Hajj Camp during which certificates and shields would be awarded to those who performed duties at the Darul Hajjaj.
The Punjab Commerce Minister Mian Muhammad Shafiq to attend the concluding ceremony as special guest while Federal Minister for Religious Affairs was also expected to grace the occasion as a guest of honour, concluded Ahsaan Shahid.
