A mehfil-e-husn-e-qir'at will be held under the joint aegis of Khwaja Farid Sangat, Pakistan and Dr Murtaza Educational Trust at Hamdard Centre, Lytton Road here on Thursday. The mehfil, to commence after Maghrib prayers, will be presided over by Qari Ahmed Mian Thanvi. Eminent qaris from across the country will participate in the function, according to a press release.
