Benazir pays tributes to victims of Karsaz blasts

Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto on Thursday paid tributes to all people who died at Karachi bomb blast on October 19. In addition, more than 500 were injured in the bomb attack at her rally near Karsaz on that day. In a message on the Chehlum of the slain people, she said their sacrifices would not be allowed to go in vain.
She assured the families of those who had been aggrieved, lost their bread earners and also suffered that her party would look after them. Meanwhile, former senator Farhatullah Babar, as well as spokesperson of the chairman has also drawn the election commission's attention to violation of Election Code of Conduct by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, president, Pakistan Muslim League (Q).
Babar wrote a letter to secretary election commission in which he spoke of reports that the president PML (Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain would distribute allotment letters among journalists in the Punjab House on Wednesday, November 28, 2007.
